Mt. Edgecumbe High School Alumni Study
 
     

The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the University of Alaska Anchorage is conducting a study of recent alumni of Mt.Edgecumbe High School.

The intent of this study is to capture the educational, social, and cultural experiences and outcomes of those who attended and graduated from Mt. Edgecumbe High School after it became a State-operated boarding school in 1985. The first phase of this project is a survey of those who graduated from Mt. Edgecumbe between 1986 and 2006. We then hope to conduct in depth interviews with a subsample of these survey participants. At a later date, we will survey and interview former students who attended Mt. Edgecumbe but did not graduate from this high school.
