Norway Pretest, 2001

Members of the US and Norwegian SLiCA teams collaborated on a pretest and refinement of the Norway SLiCA questionnaire. Collaboration between the US and Norway teams continued in January 2003 when the US team invited Norway's field director, Vivian Aira, to spend a week in Barrow Alaska working with the US team interviewing Inupiat on the North Slope of Alaska. Vivian is on the left, and Marg Kruse on the right.
