Changing Numbers or Condition of Muskrat

Paul Herbert of Fort Yukon reported, "There are no muskrats around Fort Yukon. Every lake that used to have muskrat - all died off. They had spots in their lungs and liver and weren't as fat as they used to be. You know a healthy muskrat - good dark lungs, good liver."
